Medulla — A physical space for turning shared urgency into collective resilience
About
Medulla is a physical space for turning shared urgency into collective resilience by building new collaborations and infrastructures of prosperity. Medulla takes its name from Medulla Oblongata, a part of the human brain and a critical command center for involuntary, life-sustaining functions. It brings together organizations, practitioners, and communities working across different fields to respond to the technical, ecological, economic, and cultural crises shaping our shared future.
Dresdener 113b
We believe change needs to happen in tangible places: in rooms, courtyards, buildings, and neighborhoods. Situated in a quiet Kreuzberg courtyard, Dresdener 113B serves as both a living room and a working space. The ground floor hosts Medulla's public programming; the floor above is dedicated to focused work.
Members
Medulla is made up of multiple organizations and individuals working toward resilience in their own unique ways, connected by a shared commitment to building the capacities, relationships, and infrastructures needed to navigate crisis and create more liveable futures. We are currently assembling the first cohort of Medulla members and are open to applications from organizations and individuals who want to join the space on a permanent basis.
